<note>Background: The current nutritional problem in adolescents in Indonesia is a lack of food intake such as energy and protein, characterized by frequent skipping of breakfast which has an important role in meeting nutritional needs and another nutritional problem is the lack of physical activity so that structured, planned physical activity is needed. and repeated. This can happen because of the lack of knowledge of adolescents about physical activity and breakfast. Providing nutritional education videos makes students interested in paying attention to the information conveyed.
Objective: To determine the effect of nutritional education videos on the level of knowledge of physical activity and breakfast for adolescents at SMP Negeri 1 Pondoksalam
Methods: This research is a quacy experimental study with a One Group Pre-Posttest Design at SMP Negeri 1 Pondoksalam in November - December 2022 with a total of 80 subjects. Data on knowledge of physical activity and breakfast were measured using a pre-post test questionnaire. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test.
Results: the average knowledge of physical activity before education was 58.75 and increased to 82.87 knowledge of breakfast before education was 56.50 and increased to 84.50. There is an effect of nutritional education videos on knowledge of physical activity (p=0.000) and breakfast (p=0.000).
Conclusion: The effect of nutrition education videos on the level of knowledge of physical activity and Adolescent breakfast at Pondoksalam 1 Public Middle School before education was categorized as sufficient and increased to good after being given education.</note>
